Hybrid Log Cabin Home

This is a hybrid log cabin home. The hybrid nature of this home is identified in the solid stacked log walls which is paired with framed log gable ends and conventional trusses and placed on a walkout basement. The trusses are a scissor truss over the great room with flat trusses over the bedrooms, hallway, and baths.

This log cabin home is 988 square feet of living space on the main floor and 988 square feet in the ground level. The wrap around porch on two sides encompassing 420 square feet and extends the living space outside. A stepped foundation makes the walkout basement possible.

This cabin floor plan offers a large kitchen adjacent to the great room, two bedrooms, and full bath.

The ground level plan features a family room on the walkout side, utility room, storage and mechanical room. Other inclusions on this level could be a home office, exercise room, or additional bedrooms.
