Timber Frame Gazebo Bus Shelter

Shelters can include square timber or round log. When the word “log” is used it denotes that the structural members are fabricated from round logs. If the word “timber” is used it denotes that the structural members are solid wood and are milled to a consistent diameter. Timber frame or post and beam is also correct terminology.

The page layout for this design can be placed on either 8.5×11 sheets of paper or organized on a blueprint size sheet as demonstrated above. The complexity of what is included in the construction drawings depends somewhat on what the owner or builder request. Above we have perspective renderings, floor plan, timber diagram, roof assembly layers, window opening and plexiglass details, foundation schedule, etc.
